Changes.

Why, hello! It has sure been a while since my last blog post, but we are back in business. (at least for now, until I get distracted for another 4 months and forget.) So much has happened, like it always does with life. I would say that the biggest thing that has changed is my employer. I got a new job in March, and I really am loving it. It was hard to leave my guys, but when you feel like something is just right, you have to do it. So, I quit and got a new job. I now work at Utah Valley Health Clinic, which is a natural doctor's office. I have learned so much and have really had a new perspective on some things. I'm so thankful that the Lord directs our lives, because man, He has such good plans for us! I feel like I would just mess things up if it were all up to me to plan.

Another big moment for our family was just a couple of months ago, in May. Drewmasta GRADUATED!!! We are so proud of him! The best part of his graduation was that he literally had to duck to fit under the "O" that all the graduates walk under! He's such a stud. I can't believe he'll be turning his mission papers in this December! Whaaaat!? He will be such a good missionary...and we will be such a wreck.
June 10th was a great day for me and Ryan. 6 months of marriage! He surprised me by taking me to the cutest bed and breakfast in the most random little town, where we didn't even have cell phone reception! It was so much fun! We went on a cool little hike to these incredible water falls. I absolutely love my husband more and more every day. I honestly didn't think that was possible. He is the most loving, patient, and kind man I know. How did I get so lucky to share my life with him?

We were really lucky to be able to spend the 4th of July with LOTS of family! Ryan's dad and their long-time family friend J.R. were in town from California, so they were here to celebrate, which was awesome. My mom and Drew also came up to the house and partied with us! We always talk about how blessed we are to have both married into such awesomeness! We both love our in-laws and are very thankful for them.

This fall, I will be going back to school to finish! I'm transferring to UVU for the Behavioral Science major. I am really excited to dive in and start learning about lots of great things. Ryan has decided to double major in Digital Media and Marketing. We also made the plunge to have Ryan quit his job so that he can focus on school and finish quicker. It was an extremely tough decision to make, because we were getting very comfortable, but sometimes, we grow more when we are just a little bit uncomfortable. We both felt that this was the right thing to do, and we are just going to move forward with faith and hope for our future!

We both continue to follow our passions, every day. Ryan wants to eventually start his own production company and produce, write, and direct movies. If anyone was born to do this, it was Ryan Mullis. He is insanely talented and has such a good creative brain for this kind of stuff. As for me, I am really diving into my songwriting. Hopefully in the near future, we will be able to combine our passions and team up on some projects. He wants to practice making movies, and I want to share my messages through music....so why not?

Ryan continues to support me in my addiction of the Bachelorette. What husband blocks out every Monday night, just so he can watch his wife's favorite show with her? (Even though I KNOW he'd rather be doing a million other things).

Well, I hope this is enough of a catch up! Hopefully in the future, I will be better at the updates. Have a wonderful day!
