Our year is now complete.

Would it be a regular year of life if this girl right here wasn't admitted to the ER at least once? Let's be real. HECK NO. Ryan and I were actually getting really excited/somewhat leery of the fact that it was already October and there were no ER visits for us. Oops, but then today happened.

So, I went into work this morning, in excruciating pain...hoping to just get through the day. I have been getting ovarian cysts all of a sudden, which are really painful. So, I figured I would just deal with it today. When it got too painful, I called my OB/GYN's office to ask them a few questions, just to get peace of mind. They said they would like to see me, so I ran up there and had an appointment. The ultra sound showed more cysts on the right side this time. But, my doctor was worried that something more was going on that they couldn't see. So, he sent me to the ER. My doctor there thought for sure it was my appendix about to rupture. So, we did some tests and he saw nothing wrong with my appendix. He did find a lot of blood and fluid surrounding my organs, which he says is from a ruptured cyst. So, they figure that all of that pressure and the fluid/blood in my stomach is what is causing all of the pain.

I am now accepting ANY and all advice/ideas on what to do to prevent cysts in the future....because this is not something I really want to go through every month. I'm so thankful for all of the support we've been receiving through this. My work has been so amazing and understanding. My manager is the best! She is so caring and is more concerned about my health than having me at work. (For example, when I had to leave her alone today and go to the doctor....I felt horrible Karen, SORRY!) Most of all though, I am thankful for my wonderful husband. He is so wonderful. I'm so lucky to have him. He lets me squeeze his hand when I don't want to take harsh pain meds that make me feel even worse. He really is the best. :)

....and now I have to just have to show off my man. He did this for his class...and I LOVE it!
